Weld One (Teeth in a Day)

Weld One™ is a revolutionary and highly advanced new method that allows a full mouth of new teeth to rest with complete, proven stability on only four to six implants per jaw. A state-of-the-art CT scanner is used to plot the location of the implants in the jaws, these implants form a sturdy base for titanium framework and a temporary bridge to be secured on top of it. You walk out the same day with a beautiful, natural, functional smile. The more durable Weld One™ temporary restoration can last up to a year before being switched to a final bridge.

People can lose teeth for many different reasons, whether after an accident, through decay, or simply age, but the impact on their life can be traumatic. Previously, a bridge or a denture were the most popular ways to replace missing teeth, however, they are not always an ideal solution and can make eating uncomfortable or people self-conscious of their smile. Nowadays, dental implants have become a much more favoured option because this advanced treatment effectively replaces the root of a tooth, giving a more natural outcome in terms of functionality and aesthetics. Dental implants have been used for over 30 years to replace missing teeth, offering a long-term solution and a host of benefits to patients. Implant treatment can slow down bone loss, preserve healthy tissue and help maintain jaw shape. Bone loss is a problem for people who have dentures as the shape of the jaw slowly changes and the dentures need to be adjusted or re-made to fit the new shape of the jaw. Bone loss can also make a person look older since the area around the mouth can sag.

Implants are made from titanium, a material that is bio-compatible with your body and easily integrates with your bone tissue. After the implants have been placed, there is a healing period of three to six months while the implants integrate with your body tissues, then you return to the practice for the restoration to be completed. At The Staines Centre of Dental Excellence, we understand the impact that a smile can have. We would never send you out without a complete smile. Once dental implants are fully integrated into your jaw they function just as well as your own natural teeth. This means you can eat the foods you enjoy, speak and smile with confidence.
