Treatment Journey

At The Staines Centre of Dental Excellence we place high priority on patient happiness and ensure that you are looked after by all members of the dental team. We are dedicated and committed to ensuring you have the best results regardless of whether you come for a routine examination or cosmetic dentistry. Not only do we pride ourselves on the treatment that we provide but also understand that the patient journey is just as important and strive to look after you in the best way that we can.

Your first contact will be with our reception team who will greet you in a friendly, professional, caring manner, and they will be happy to answer any questions that you have from your first enquiry through to the end of your treatment. We offer early, late, and weekend appointments to accommodate your every need. When you have arranged your first appointment at the practice you will be sent a customised welcome pack with information about the practice and the range of treatments that we offer. We will be happy to answer any further questions you may have by contacting reception on 01784 466325 or emailing reception@stcode.co.uk.

At your first consultation your dentist will do a comprehensive examination, take dental x-rays, photographs and impressions if required. Your dentist will go through treatment options with you and provide a treatment plan with fees. This is a two way process so we are keen for any questions and suggestions you may have. This is essential for creating a successful treatment plan. Appointments are made following the initial visit to follow the treatment plan as agreed. Emergency treatment may be carried out at the initial visit with priority given to teeth causing pain.

During treatment you will be kept well informed of the progress, and are able to relax and listen to music and watch the television on the ceiling of the surgery to help you relax. We want every patient to leave the surgery feeling 100% happy so if there is anything you need please do not hesitate to ask. Patient care does not finish when a course of treatment is completed, we cannot understate the importance of regular dental inspections and hygienist visits to maintain dental health.

During each visit we strive to make every patient feel welcome and at ease to make a lasting impression. We welcome patient feedback whether positive or negative and have an established complaints policy should this be necessary.
